Brushing your gums can prevent gum disease, and brushing your tongue can prevent bad breath and get rid of bacteria.

Wear a mouth guard if you play sports where your teeth could get injured. Mouth guards protect your teeth from getting knocked out while playing a sport or getting cracked or chipped. A mouth guard can also prevent your teeth from getting damaged if you grind your teeth. There are different types of mouth guards depending on your needs. Stay Away From Hard Candy

Hard candy can break your teeth and cause damage when you bite into the candy. Also, stay away from sticky candy, which can also damage your teeth. Other sugar-loaded foods can also damage your teeth and eat away at the tooth's enamel, so avoid them to prevent this from happening to your teeth.

Eat a Healthy Diet

A diet rich in nutrients, vitamins, and minerals is best for your teeth and your overall body as well. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, and drink plenty of water throughout the day. This can help strengthen your teeth and keep your gums healthy as well.
